Selection criteria
Would you like to contact our governors for your project or structure?
To be eligible, a project presented to the ArcelorMittal Foundation must:
- be established in Luxembourg or in the Greater Region
- have an impact on local communities
- concern the social, education, environment and/or cultural domain.
The Foundation promotes a long-term relationship with its network of associations and favors projects built over time, with a beginning and an end. It does not finance the general operating costs of the applicant association/foundation (various bills such as electricity, gas, water, maintenance, salaries, current expenses, etc.) nor sports projects (sponsorship of sports teams, individual sports , sports infrastructure such as stadiums, sports halls, etc.).

ANALYSIS AND INSTRUCTION OF THE FILE
The Foundation carefully analyzes all the files and documents received with a view to presenting them to the Board of Governors. Additional information may be requested.

COMPLIANCE CHECK
Using the documents provided as part of the support request, each pre-selected structure is subject to compliance checks.

PROJECT DISPLAY
All files are presented to the Foundation’s decision-making body, its Board of Governors.

SUPPORT DECISION
A project is supported if:
1. compliance checks are validated and
2. it is approved by the Board of Governors.

REVIEW AND SUPPORT OF THE PROJECT
the projects selected are subject to careful monitoring, with the obligation of an annual report of the activities of the association/foundation and an annual report of the supported project, and support from the Foundation throughout the year.
